Drupal vs. Wordpress

I've used a number of different content management systems over the past 7 or 8 years including OS Commerce, Zen Cart, Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress.  They all have their pros and cons and depending on the project one may be better suited for it that another.

Here's a great article I found on Wordpress vs. Drupal: http://poplarware.com/articles/drupal_vs_wordpress

I 100% agree that Drupal is better suited for slightly more complex projects, and that it's better suited for a site that will need to grow and extend over time.

OutdoorPatriot.com is Bigger, Badder, Faster, and all-around Spiffier!

The day John Meng of Meng & Company has been waiting for.... the Outdoor Patriot re-design has launched!

This was an especially fun project because it was not only a "face-lift" with lots of new functionality but it was also a conversion from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.  It definitely took some trial and error (and some extra cups of coffee) but the Drupal upgrade was a success!

This is a Social Media rich site with a Blog, Daily News, eNews, Podcasts, RSS Feed, and Facebook and Twitter integration.  It also accepts payments via PayPal.

HighTopRoofing.com Goes Live

Whoo hoo!  Another successful Drupal 7 project launched today!  This was a collaboration effort with SNR Advertising, and First Place Marketing.

One of the unique features of the site is that there are actually 2 sets of color scheme/header/logo combinations to represent 2 separate businesses.  The content authors have the ability to choose which look and feel they want for each individual page of the site.
